Deauville is a high-end sale, but I can guarantee there will be plenty of slobs in among the stunners. Some of those slobs will have the most gorgeous pedigrees and it's the best buyers in the world who can recognise that in three months' time the slob won't be a slob.
She's very exciting and has grown into a fine specimen - we are absolutely delighted to have her. We hope to have her run at the end of the season, we're not in a rush with her.
She's a lovely filly, full of quality. She's a half-sister to a champion and was a great mover. A filly we were really keen to get. We'll get her home now before making any decisions.
"She's for a new client. I know the family very well, and she's a very good-looking filly."
I like the sire a lot and she had it all, in particular her looks. She's from a fabulous family that has produced plenty of top fillies, which was a big draw.I love Dubai Destination as a broodmare sire and he's having a fabulous year. I don't know who will train the filly, but she'll definitely stay in France.
He's been bought for Al Shaqab Racing, he looked very racy and the most precocious lot by Frankel in the sale. The Frankels are all different shapes and sizes - this horse really moved well and I hope he can be successful.
Redoute's Choice has been a phenomenal success in Australia and there is no reason why he won't prove himself in the northern hemisphere. This colt was a very athletic horse and had the looks to match. He has a stallion's pedigree and we're delighted to get a relative of High Chaparral.
She's for an international client, a big breeder who likes international pedigrees - and that's what she has.I've been coming here for years and done very well. It's a lovely sale and we always buy really sound horses.
She's a high-quality filly, and Dubai Destination is going to make it as a broodmare sire.We bought the half-sister by Monsun here last year, she's in training with Nicolas Clement.I'll speak to the Coolmore guys to see where she's going.
Galileo's a great stallion and Fire Lily was a very good racemare from a really nice family. Plus, the Galileo/Danehill cross works really well.
Shamardal is an extraordinary sire - he gets so many winners at different distances and they are all just such honest horses. Not only that, but this colt was just a really good individual out of a sister to a Classic winner who has got a Dewhurst winner [Belardo] in his first crop. The combination of that and the fact he is out of a lovely young mare - it just all fitted together. We saw him on the farm in Germany in May and were impressed, and it looks as though he has continued to thrive.
